Turn 2 Sports Bar is a classy little Kansas City bar with a great view of the Kansas Speedway at Turn 2. We had salads and the Shrimp Creole Tacos and they were well prepared . Quite tasty and reasonably priced . The drinks were good but a bit weak. Angry Orchard Apple Cider was only $2 as were the draws during Happy Hour (Wed -Sun 4-6 pm)

Super cool view out to the nascar Kansas speedway. Tvs galore-you can see the tvs from the casino floor as well as from the bar upstairs.

I really enjoy their burgers made to order and the bartender on a different occasion was very knowledgable helping me pick a drink. On the other hand, the waitresses are hit or miss. A couple times I felt I had good service, the most recent visit my waitress seemed to disappear when we needed something and why did the tables near us with a different waitress order and get food before us when they came later? Who knows, our lady just disappeared, she did bring the food but it did take awhile so don't be in a rush and you'll be happy.

We had a fun night here! In full disclosure, my husband had won a gift card here from a Yelp event, so we were excited to come back. We gambled a little and then by the time we had spent enough money, we were ready for a bite to eat. It was dinnertime, but we were able to walk right in and sit down. The wait staff was good and we were able to get our drinks refilled quickly and the orders came without much wait. I had the firecracker shrimp which I loved. So flavorful, a tad spicy and still juicy on the inside. The husband ordered a southwestern salad with tortilla strips. It was a HUGE salad for the price. We got a few choice beverages and it was awesome getting to watch football on the giant screen. There are a TON of TVs here so pretty much every game was on every TV so there was always something to watch. My normal impression of all casino restaurants are that they are either buffets ($$) or fancy steakhouses, so this was a nice change of pace. Since we had our gift card (which was good for entrees up to $15) we tried to order expensive things, but there was only 1 entree over $15. They even had hotdogs and other items for really cheap. Nice to know since normally I would leave a casino if I was hungry, but here you can still eat even after losing your shirt downstairs on the floor.

Thanks to a Yelp Elite event, I got to taste a sampling of the food served at Turn2, along with the other restaurants at Hollywood Casino. Let's just say - they got my attention and left me wanting more. Turn2 served up the shrimp taco - soft shell full of goodness that gets you on the backside of the bite. Love the spiciness! My friend tried the pork slider and didn't talk to me while she was eating - does that tell you anything? Excited about going back to see and try their full menu. Love the finishes in this bar - 49 TV's for you sports fans! Bartender was pretty cool too.

Micah! The man with the plan. He was a fill in bartender today. He got my order right, my drink never went dry, and his skills are mad! It was a very nice change of pace from the usual bartender on Sunday. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! Thanks, Micah!

My husband and I came here for a Yelp Elite event and definitely plan to come back. The shrimp tacos were really good, made like street tacos with the two small soft taco shells, and they had a bit of a kick also. The pork slider was awesome also. Plus, you have a view of the track from the inside and there is a balcony that overlooks the track. This would be an awesome place to watch a Nascar race - but you have to be a casino VIP to get those tickets - we asked!!! There are 49 tv's in this place - if you want to watch a sporting event then this would be the place. The drinks were also good and cheap and the bartender was nice, knowledgeable and efficient.

Extremely disappointed. We will never come here again. Where to begin... We made reservations for a party of 20 at 6pm. A couple of days before the our reserved date, a manager called to inform us that they were cancelling our reservation, unless if we all could make it by 5pm. So we called everyone to let them know. When we started arriving at 4:45pm, we were informed that we wouldn't be seated until all 20 of us were there. Aggravating, but not unexpected, especially when we could see the entire 20-person table sitting empty and a waitress standing there, looking bored. About 12 of us had arrived by 5pm, but apparently that wasn't good enough for management. They still refused to seat us and said that they were going to split up the table and give it to other people. (What other people? There were other empty tables and nobody was waiting.) After about 18 of us were there, the manager stated that she would allow us to sit, but only because she was nice and generous. They only had the single waitress for 20 of us. Service was extremely slow. Drink orders were sporadic and forgotten many times. I ordered 5 drinks and only received 2. The food was alright, but not worth the hassle. Also beware of the mandatory 20% service charge for the group. We were there to celebrate and have a good time, but the attitude of management and staff and the horrible service ruined our evening.

Wow! Not only is the food great but it has an amazing view of the NASCAR track. There are a lot of huge TVs everywhere and each booth has its own private TV in it. Nicely done.

Outstanding fries and surprisingly great pizza. Lots of TVs cover the walls, good view of your game from any seat.

Ok, I will say I was a bit intimidated when I first saw the place as I didnt know what to expect, as it's located inside a casino. But the presentation of it is, it has 2 sets of escalators leading up to the front entrance. Also they've got a side elevator that also goes right up to the restaurant. So when I first walked in I thought great $$$$$. Much to my surprise exactly the opposite. It also overlooks a nascar track so if your into racing yet you want an impressive place to take people to without "braking the bank" ( get it brake -break. ok nm a comedian I'm not lol) OR even still you want an " classy sports bar" this place definately by far is the best I've ever seen accomplish that feat. at least 3 theatre type screens above the bar which is in a circular motion. also the booth's themselves have have in addition to normal style screens a mini screen in the booth with a channel changer and volume control. So yeah it certainly meets the criteria of sports bar. Ok, enough about building. So your anxious, FOOD FOOD tell about food right ? alright, here's why I give this place a 5. They offer a wide range of creative dishes such mozzerella eggrolls that have not just mozzerella but are mixed with basil & recotta chesse then sprinkled with fresh parm and served with a freshly made red sauce. But it was refreshing to say the least. so much so I had to take pics. Then there are options of enchelladas with a green chili bean stew, rice, guacamole/sour cream. All were thick with queso cheese. There was another dish option a BBQ pulled pork hotdog sandwich with a side items like chips ( yeah sounds no biggy ) yet they were made in house and yeah I know you're thinkin " uh huh twirl chips been there done that a blah NC staple not something exciting". My answer to that would be " on the contrary " because in fact they werent twirlly @ all matter of fact they were like freshly made " @Ruffle potato chips " but you could tell the difference between the bagged version and manually deepfried chips and craftsmanship in which it had. So if you don't like gambling go check this out as it's worth every penny spent.

Addition to prior review. Against my better wishes, tried it again last night. Ordered nachos, with ground beef. Nachos. Hard to screw up. Nope, not for Turn 2, The nachos were burned AND cold. Wow, how do you do that. Waitress dropped off the food, then obviously retired, as we did not see her again until a full 20 minutes later. Never again. If I could give negative stars I would.

Amazing layout of massive and high quality screens & sound. Could be a really cool place to catch a game. I didn't realize how much that experience depends on other similarly-bought-in folks surrounding you. The potential is tempered by the reality that you're really watching the game with a bunch of elderly gamblers, etc. Casinos just aren't my thing, so... I suppose this place isn't either. Pros: Burger was really pretty good. Fried pickles reasonably tasty. Prices are super low. Manager reserved a table for me right across from main screen. Wait staff did a stand up job. Visual & audio experience is top notch. Cons: Appetizers feature manufactured tortilla chips & thin, runny queso. The casino experience & demographic. You have to live casinos. Being away from everything else, bizarre mix of humanity surrounding you, watching the game in a "sports bar" with a bunch of folks who have no clue what they're looking at.

Have been several times, nothing great. But nothing inedible. Will continue to go because it is a great spot to watch NFL etc. BUT, don't ask for any substitutions. Last week a guy next to me asked to have sausage on half his pizza, they said no. This weekend another man asked for one flour and one corn tortilla for his taco dish and they said no again. What happened to accommodating to please the customer. I don't believe either of these requests were unreasonable and would be a great sacrifice/inconvenience on their part to make the customer happy. I have been in the customer service industry for many years and I would never deny the customer unless it was something we just couldn't do. This establishment obviously doesn't follow "the customer is always right" mentality and on occasion has not been totally professional.

SUPER FREAKIN COOL SPORTS BAR! I am an enormous NASCAR fan, so the best part is the view of the track from the patio. It was nighttime, so the lights were on and the track was empty and it made some great pictures. The huge TV above the bar that was curved...I had TV envy (and I have a 70" TV). It was enormous. Tons of smaller TVs all around. During the race I saw people watching from the patio. So I suppose if you want to go there and eat and drink you could watch the race too. Not a bad idea. Just for the cool view and the enormous TV it gets 5 stars. The food was good too...if only I could remember what I had. Alas, too many beverages were consumed to hang on to that small detail. DEFINITELY come here if you are in the area and want to watch a game or on race weekend to see some action on the track.

Fun to sit out side and watch Kansas Speedway activities FOR FREE, of course the food and drinks aren't free. So come for happy hour every day from 4-6. We are having a ball. Completely different perspective of the race track. Perfect for watching Time trials, may be a little crowded on the patio for the actual race!!??
